This is a small sample of the patterns that come with Chameleon from Logical Solutions, Inc. Chameleon includes all the tools you will need to create and display beautiful color, gray scale or black & white patterns quickly and easily. The entire Artbeats® Marble & Granite collection and over a hundred other patterns are included. The powerful pattern editor includes a broad set of drawing tools to make creating new patterns fun and easy. PICTs from the clipboard may be pasted in directly for fast pattern creation. Full import and export capability allows you to easily share patterns with others.
You may have up to 256 patterns in the internal pattern set. These you may scroll through these patterns with the arrow keys or the unique Chameleon button strip interface (no sub-menus to deal with, as all functions are in the application window interface).
The Apply button places the pattern of your choice on the desktop without writing it to your system. The pattern will appear on the desktop until the next reboot. You can place an alias of Chameleon in the Startup Items folder in your System folder and have it pop up at boot time.
The Install feature writes a pattern to your System file. This makes it appear every time your machine is started.
Exporting is fast and easy, as a merge command lets you make sub-sets of your internal pattern set quickly and easily. You can also export all patterns in the internal set to a single, external pattern document.
The import command shows you a generous view of the pattern you may want to import, and it's name. You may also delete patterns from the external set, thus making pattern management a snap!
The editor is very complete and intuitive. A broad set of drawing tools, and the best color picker ever are included to make creating a new pattern very fun and easy. PICTs from the clipboard may be pasted in directly for fast pattern creation.
